Foam-Based Fire
Extinguishers are fire suppression devices that are adaptable and intended to
suppress fires that involve combustible solids and flammable liquids. They are
a favoured option for environments that are susceptible to Class A and Class B
fires. The chemical that generates a foam blanket to suppress fires and prevent
re-ignition, which is appropriate for Class A fires: Combustibles, including
wood, paper, textiles, and plastics, Class B Fires: Liquids that are flammable,
such as petrol, oil, diesel, and alcohol.
